The new Kieserlbahn was officially opened in December 2023. The 10-passenger gondola lift not only takes guests up the mountain in winter, but also in summer. High up on the Kieserl at 1,954 m, a very special spot on earth has been newly developed. The mountain station of the Kieserlbahn is a new starting point for many different hikes. A real hiking highlight, for example, is the high-altitude hike from the Kieserl to the Kreuzkogel. The "ascent" and "descent" is done very comfortably with one of the two gondola lifts (Panorambahn and Kieserlbahn). Along the hike you can enjoy the breathtaking mountain panorama, you will pass many places to stop for refreshments and there is the opportunity to relax at the resting places and let the beautiful nature take effect on you. There are plenty of play opportunities for children along the way.

The gondolas operate from 08:30 a.m. to 04:30 p.m.
If it rains in the morning, lift service is canceled for the whole day.
