BERG-GESUND offers a special program for all snowshoe hikers, ski touring enthusiasts, climbers, outdoor fans, and nature lovers. From Christmas to Easter, various winter activities away from the pistes are available to you five days a week.
The tours are led by state-certified guides. The program runs from end of November to begin ofApril.
Prepare the right way and make winter sports a delight. Hike with Andreas Viehhauser (certified personal trainer, nutrition expert, and athletic coach) to get your circulation going. You'll stop at three stations to perform some basic strength and bodyweight exercises.

In this introduction to ski touring, you’ll learn how to use your ski-touring gear correctly, and take an easy ski tour in Grossarl or Hüttschlag. You'll also learn how to handle an avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe. The state-certified tour guide will provide vital insights into snow and avalanche awareness.

The ski tours, snowshoe hikes, and winter fitness hikes are led by highly trained, competent, state-certified touring and mountaineering guides. The tours are guaranteed to take place even if only a single registration has been received. And these tours happen in (almost) any weather conditions.
Unique aspects of BERG-GESUND
- The number of participants is limited, ensuring a high level of quality and safety.
- For guests of BERG-GESUND member businesses, the tours are free (excluding transfer, equipment rental, refreshments). Other guests are welcome to join the tours for a fee of €30.00 to €50.00.
- The necessary equipment can be booked online and is available for a rental fee.
- Dogs are not allowed on snowshoe hikes and ski tours out of consideration for the other participants.
- Public transportation is used to reach the starting point of the tours.
- Registration is directly with BERG-GESUND.
