For those avid skiers who are staying a little too far from the valley stations of the mountain lifts to reach them on foot, but would still like to enjoy a break from driving, the Grossarltal lifts offer a complimentary ski bus throughout the valley.
The free ski bus operates in the local area every 7 or 15 minutes. In the direction of Hüttschlag and on to the valley head, as well as towards St. Johann as far as the Gollegg stop, the bus operates on a set schedule five times in each half of the day. Additionally, a free ski bus also runs to Ellmautal.
You can likewise take the free ski bus to neighboring Alpendorf in St. Johann im Pongau, your gateway to the Salzburger Sportwelt. Of course, you can also make full use of the free ski buses in Gastein Valley to reach the various Gastein ski resorts.
