You go by car to Hüttschlag and further to the Güterweg Oberneureit (opposite the Aschaustüberl). You go until the barrier. Alternatively, you can also take bus no. 540 to the Aschau bus stop in Hüttschlag and start the hike from there (+ 1/2 h walking time).
