You can either hike along the forest path or take the shortcuts through the forest to the Loosbühelalm in just over an hour. This alp was rebuilt in winter 2010-2011 after a devastating fire. The Loosbühelalm (“Klausalm”) is a special insider tip for fans of goat's milk and goat's cheese.

You go by car or public bus no. 540 to Grossarl and you turn left between the Hotel Alte Post and the ALPSTORE to Ellmautal to Grundlehen. Or take the hiking cab or your own car (toll fee) directly to the mountain hut.
